Zigmund's in Bridgehampton, which opened last July, has announced that it will close on Sunday, January 15th. Its final evening will feature a Closing Night Karaoke celebration.

The Hamptons bar and restaurant is the brainchild of Jason Weiner and Eric Lemonides, who are also behind Almond in Bridgehampton and two restaurants in Manhattan. The restaurant's name pays homage to Weiner's wife, Almond Zigmund.

"Zigmund's was intended to be a pop up," noted Lemonides. "Back in July, the owner of the building (who is a buddy of ours) had an opening for a season before a more permanent tenant moved in so we said 'screw it, let's open a bar!'"

Zigmund's offers a "Bespoke" menu that highlights housemade shrubs from fresh local fruits, vegetables and herbs, as well as a bar menu. It also hosts themed evenings, including East End Opry Wednesdays, Karaoke Thursdays, live acoustic music Fridays, and retro sounds on Saturdays.

"It's been a blast, but we are now moving on to bigger projects," he explained. Weiner and Lemonides' next project will make its debut during 2017 and will be announced shortly.

"We are looking forward to rounding out the season in the next two weeks with live music, karaoke and our signature Retro Sounds on Saturday," added Weiner. "We will close out with a final Karaoke night, so bring your best singing voice to serenade us one last time."

Hampton Luxury Liner
Hampton Luxury Liner was started in 2000 as a more luxurious way to travel from NYC to the Hamptons and back. The clientele quickly grew and over the years Hampton Luxury liner became the preferred method of transportation to the Hamptons and NYC for many living in NYC and the Hamptons that wanted a comfortable and affordable way to travel back and forth. In 2009, HLL was taken over by Classic Coach and things with the liner didn’t change to much for years and the owner there changed the buses to Prevost as opposed to Mercedes Setra Top Class Coaches that have always been a signature of the liner.
