On Saturday, September 10th and Sunday, September 11th, the Montauk Friends of Erin and the Kiwanis of East Hampton will present the 4th annual Montauk Seafood Festival.

"The Montauk Seafood Festival is the most anticipated seafood festival on the East End," shared Laura Mastandrea, Director, Montauk Seafood Festival. "Cast off for Montauk, the world's fishing capital, and reel in an amazing weekend with seafood, music and fun at the Montauk Seafood Festival."

The scrumptious two day affair will take place simultaneously under the tents at Montauk Marine Basin (426 West Lake Drive, Montauk) and across the street at Gosman's Lawn (543 West Lake Drive). The Festival will revolve around local fish and shellfish and local eateries. Highlights will include fried calamari and chowder from West Lake Fish House, fish taco's from Gringo's Burrito Grill, seafood wantons from Tauk at Trails End, a Cajun steam pot from Gurney's Montauk, raw Montauk Pearl oysters from Montauk Shellfish, lobster sliders from Duryea's, tuna tartar in a waffle cone from Arbor, curry seafood over rice and beans from Soursop Tree Café, chowder from Gosman's Restaurant, a po' boy (oyster sandwich), coconut shrimp roll, and crab burger from Craft Burger, tuna, salmon, and shrimp sushi from Zakura, raw oysters, and linguini and white clam sauce from K&B Seafood Inc., shrimp cocktail with charred corn and avocado from Muse @ The End, lobster rolls from Chef Pete Ambrose and Endless Events Group, tuna poke with spicy mayo from Salt Box, surf and turf (lobster and steak slider) from Shagwong, a grill station with burgers, hot dogs, corn, and steamed half lobster from Kiwanis, tuna ceviche, sea bass ceviche, and shrimp ceviche from Montauk Market, and a grill station with hamburgers, hot dogs, corn, fried fish, calamari, scallops and fries, as well as a clam shuck station/crab from Friends of Erin. Attendees can wash down the delicious fare with Essentia water, Honest Tea, Pepsi, Montauk Brew Co., Bud Light, Corona, Coors Light, Blue Moon, Blue Point, and free gin, rum, or whiskey samples from Rum Runner.

Additionally, the Festival will include live music from the 3Bs, Hopefully Forgiven, Stolen Rhoades, and Molly Adele Brown, free ferry rides, a Long Island Aquarium Shark Truck, coloring, Amagansett Fish Hatchery, hula hooping with Jomama, gold fish racing, crab racing, a corn hole toss competition, Pollock Krasner Center drip painting (on Sunday only) and Sea Tow.

While the beaches, endless eateries, stunning scenery, outdoor activity options and other entertaining happenings already make Montauk a popular destination, this is "giving you ANOTHER reason to come visit Montauk," according to Mastandrea.
