The Kiwanis Club of Greater Westhampton is presenting the 4th Annual Westhampton Beach Oyster Festival on Saturday, October 10th.
From 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., the Village Marina will be filled with family-friendly fun and good East End eats. The seafood-centric Columbus Day weekend happening will showcase bites from local food vendors including Sydney’s Taylor Made Cuisine, Shuckers Lobster & Clam Bar, Famous Crabman Crab Cakes, Sherin’s Seafood and BBQ from the New Moon Cafe. An oyster shucking contest will take place at 12 p.m., followed by a New England Clam Chowder Contest at 2 p.m.
As attendees savor the local foodie scene, they’ll enjoy music from DJ Bill, southern rock from Yankee Rebel, reggae from Project Vibe, and a special show from WEHM Real Band Battle winner Sir Cadian Rhythm. Little festivalgoers will be amused by live entertainment from Jester Jim and Kings of the Coast Interactive Pirate Show, face painting, pumpkin painting, educational activities like aquarium touch tanks, pony rides, a petting zoo, bounce houses, obstacle courses, and slides.
Admission is a suggested donation of $5.
