The fifth annual Harvest East End, a celebration of Long Island’s specialty wines and cuisine, will be held at McCall Vineyards and Ranch in Cutchogue on Saturday, August 23, 2014. This year’s food and wine event has been newly retitled “Dan’s Harvest East End,” as, for the first time, Dan’s Papers has partnered with the Long Island Wine Council.
“We expect this year to be even more exciting for all the participating wineries and restaurants and a fun experience or all attending,” noted Ron Goerler, Jr., event chair and proprietor/winemaker at Jamesport Vineyards. In addition to offering attendees with the best in food and wine, the event will honor Author and New York Times’ writer Florence Fabricant and Long Island Restauranteur Tom Schaudel.

The event will also feature more than 30 of the best regional chefs and their best plates. The silent auction will include specialty wines as well as a once-in-a-lifetime change for collectors to snag that perfect bottle.
