The fifth annual Harvest East End, a celebration of Long Island's specialty wines and cuisine, will be held at McCall Vineyards and Ranch in Cutchogue on Saturday, August 23, 2014. This year's food and wine event has been newly retitled "Dan's Harvest East End," as, for the first time, Dan's Papers has partnered with the Long Island Wine Council.

"We expect this year to be even more exciting for all the participating wineries and restaurants and a fun experience or all attending," noted Ron Goerler, Jr., event chair and proprietor/winemaker at Jamesport Vineyards. In addition to offering attendees with the best in food and wine, the event will honor Author and New York Times' writer Florence Fabricant and Long Island Restauranteur Tom Schaudel.

Up to 1,500 people are expected to attend this year's event and indulge in over 2,000 bottles of top-notch wines from nearly 40 different East End vineyards. The event will also feature more than 30 of the best regional chefs and their best plates. The silent auction will include specialty wines as well as a once-in-a-lifetime change for collectors to snag that perfect bottle.

Participating wineries include Anthony Nappa Wines, Baiting Hollow, Bedell Cellars, Brooklyn Oenology, Channing Daughters, Clovis Point, Coffee Pot Cellars, Croteaux, Diliberto Winery, Duck Walk Vineyards, Harbes Vineyard, Harmony Vineyards, Jamesport Vineyard, Jason's Vineyard, Kontokosta Winery, Lieb Cellars, Macari Vineyards & Winery, Martha Clara Vineyards, Mattebella Vineyards, McCall Vineyard and Ranch, Merliance, One Woman Vines & Vineyards, Osprey's Dominion, Palmer Vineyards, Pellegrini Vineyards, Pindar Vineyards, Raphael, Roanoke Vineyards, Sannino Bella Vita Vineyard, Scarola Vineyards, Sherwood House Vineyards, Shinn Estate Vineyards, Sparkling Pointe, Suhru Wines, The Old Field Vineyards, T'jara Vineyards, Waters Crest Winery and Wölffer Estate Vineyard.

Hampton Luxury Liner
Hampton Luxury Liner was started in 2000 as a more luxurious way to travel from NYC to the Hamptons and back. The clientele quickly grew and over the years Hampton Luxury liner became the preferred method of transportation to the Hamptons and NYC for many living in NYC and the Hamptons that wanted a comfortable and affordable way to travel back and forth. In 2009, HLL was taken over by Classic Coach and things with the liner didn’t change to much for years and the owner there changed the buses to Prevost as opposed to Mercedes Setra Top Class Coaches that have always been a signature of the liner.
