Thyme & Again Offers Gourmet Treats to Horse Lovers

Packages will be available in the Water Mill Party Rental booth and will include Thyme & Again's famous homemade health scones, granola and chocolate chip cookies. Cost of the cones and cookies is $5.95 per bag and the granola will be $7.95 per bag. Thyme & Again is open seven days in-season from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Michael Anthony's Food Bar (2925 North Wading River Rd., Wading River, NY 11792 [631] 929-8800) announces a demonstration by chef and co-owner Michael Toscano at Loaves & Fishes Cookshop (2422 Montauk Highway, Bridgehampton, NY [631] 537-6066) on Saturday, September 1st from noon to 2 p.m. Chef Toscano is featuring dishes made from local bounty such as: zucchini timbale braised pork shoulder with Pecorino Romano cheese and white truffle oil; potato cake with peach and ginger jam; and eggplant caviar with yellow tear drop tomatoes.

Good Time Oldies with a Former Drifter at Legends Restaurant

Celebrate Octoberfest in True German Fashion at the Publick House!

) is hosting their annual Octoberfest Celebration on Friday, September 28th in true German fashion. The party will kick off with the ceremonial tapping of the first Octoberfest Lager keg and traditional German specials will be available all night.
German style beers from Southampton Ales & Lagers will be offered at Happy Hour prices. Brews include Munich Style Southampton Golden Lager, Octoberfest Lager, and Bavarian Wheat Beer. Drink specials will be also offered on German liquors such as Jaegermeister and Goldschlager. The DJ will be playing traditional Bavarian beer hall songs from the newly upgraded DJ booth and there will be Publick House merchandise giveaways for a few lucky partygoers. In the dining room, an Octoberfest dinner a la carte will be served featuring traditional German cuisine.
