The Laundry Restaurant (341 Pantigo Lane, East Hampton, NY, 631-324-3199) has introduced some new specialty cocktails this summer. The Laundry is open for dinner seven nights a week from 5:30 p.m. to 11 p.m.
Summer at Almond
Almond (1970 Montauk Hwy., Bridgehampton, LI [631] 537-8885) a classic French bistro offering unpretentious French at affordable prices will be offering a special summer three course prix fixe for $21.95 every night from 6-7 p.m. and all night on Monday. There will also be a raw bar available offering an assortment of daily fresh shellfish. Almond is open seven days a week starting at 6 p.m.
Summer at Almondito
Almondito (290 Montauk Highway, East Hampton, 631-329-6700) a stylish Mexican restaurant serving authentic fare is having miercoles mania every Wednesday with $5 margaritas and bocaditos. They are also offering a three-course summer prix fixe for $21.95 every night from 6 -7 p.m. and all night on Wednesday. Almondito is open seven days for dinner starting at 6 p.m.
New Summer Specials at Pacific East
Pacific East (415 Main St., Amagansett, NY, 631-267-7770) has added some summer specials. Monday is Super Sushi night with 50% off all sushi, and a $21.95 three course prix fixe is offered all night Thursdays and 5:30-6:30 p.m. Friday- Wednesday. Pacific East is now open seven days a week from 5:30p.m. to 10:00p.m. and Saturday till 11p.m.
Project GreenHouse Selects Exquisite Food as "Green" Caterer Chef Simon Sheridan
Project GreenHouse Hamptons 2007 (61 Copeces Lane, East Hampton, NY 11937 [212] 380-1326) has selected Simon Sheridan, chef and owner of Exquisite Food (P.O. Box 3071, East Hampton, NY 11937 [631] 827-6000 www.hamptonsexquisitefood.com), an upscale-boutique caterer, as executive chef for the month-long event, which kicked off on Saturday, June 30th and will last until Monday, July 30th. In addition to creating custom menus for several star-studded events, which will focus on locally-grown bounty (with an emphasis on organic fare), Sheridan will also host celebrity guest chefs including Katie Joel and Nathan Lyons.
Sheridan uses the freshest ingredients from countless organic and local farmstands on Long Island's East End including Quail Hill in Amagansett, Green Thumb Organic Farm in Water Mill, Pike Farm Stand in Sagaponack, and Satur Farms and Sang Lee Farms on the North Fork. "Fresh food within five yards of where you live will taste better than fresh food that traveled 50 miles to get to you," said Sheridan.

Harbor Bistro (313 Three Mile Harbor Road, East Hampton, NY 11937 [631] 324-7300) announces a demonstration by chef and co-owner Damien O'Donnell at Loaves & Fishes Cookshop (2422 Montauk Highway, Bridgehampton, NY [631] 537-6066) on Saturday, July 14th from noon to 2 p.m. O'Donnell will demonstrate two of his popular dishes, Pacific ahi tuna poke and chilled gazpacho with goat cheese and pesto rock shrimp. Loaves & Fishes customers will also have the opportunity to relish the dishes while O'Donnell shares his recipes at no charge.
