New hours, new menus, plenty of new things to taste at East Hampton Point, The Laundry, Wildthyme, and The Pridwin! Make your reservations early to get prime seats for the holiday fireworks displays on the East End.
New Summer Hours at East Hampton Point
East Hampton Point Restaurant (295 Three Mile Harbor Rd., East Hampton, LI, [631] 329-2800) will now be open for lunch on the deck every day from 12-3 p.m. Brunch will be served every Sunday from 12- 3 p.m. Dinner will be served seven nights at 5 p.m. except on Sunday at 6 p.m. The sunset prix fixe will be offered from 5- 6 p.m. all nights except Sunday when it will be offered from 6-7 p.m.
Three-Course Prix Fixe Seven Nights a Week!
The Laundry Restaurant (341 Pantigo Lane, East Hampton, NY, 631-324-3199) has added a three-course prix fixe dinner seven nights a week from 5:30 – 6:00 p.m. for $19.80. The Laundry is open for dinner seven nights a week from 5:30 p.m. to 11 p.m.
Secrets of Summer Entertaining Saigon Nights with Culinary Expert and Event Planner Pamela Morgan
Secrets of Summer Entertaining Saigon Nights with culinary expert and event planner Pamela Morgan will be on Sunday, July 15th from 5- 8 p.m. at Jeff's kitchen at The Hayground School in Bridgehampton. The event will teach you: How to throw a party your guests will long remember, How to create unique party themes, Dress a glorious table and transform a room, Plan and execute a simple seasonal supper complete with cocktails, appetizers, main course and dessert, and Learn valuable tips on how to be a guest at your own party.
The cost of the event is $175 per person, and a percentage of the proceeds will be donated to the Hayground Scholarship Fund and includes cocktails, demo, buffet and lots of surprise. Legendary Wednesday Cookouts Start July 4
The Pridwin Beach Hotel & Cottages (Crescent Beach, 81 Shore Road Shelter Island, NY 11964 [631] 749-0476 www.pridwin.com) opens its dining room and lounge starting Sunday, July 1. Lunch and dinner, with arguably the most beautiful water view on Shelter Island, overlooking Southold Bay, are served seven days through Labor Day except on Wednesday when The Pridwin hosts its legendary, outdoor, all-you-can-eat cookouts
Outdoor cookouts are held every Wednesday from July 4 to August 29. A special cookout, timed to Shelter Island fireworks, will be held on Saturday, July 7. Cookouts cost $30 for adults and $18 per child under 12-years-old with a supplement for Saturday, July 7. Reservations are required.
Exquisite Food Adds Made-to-Order Gourmet Items
Exquisite Food (P.O. Box 3071, East Hampton, NY 11937 [631] 827-6000), offers additional made-to-order items through its new gourmet drop-off service that began this May. Now people with large families, weekend guests, or those who simply want 'gourmet' comfort food can order it. The menu is varied, requests are welcome, and custom menus are available. Cost varies depending on the items and number of guests. Made-to-order items will be available for delivery on the South Fork until September. There is a delivery surcharge for Southampton and Montauk locations.
Thyme & Again Launches New Website
Thyme & Again (14 Windmill Lane, Southampton, New York 11968 [631] 287-7354) announces the launch of their new website, www.thymeandagain.com. The site created by Hamptons online now includes photos, sample catering menus, and sample in-store menus. Owner and operator Delaney Oser is also co-owner of Wildthyme Restaurant and Bar in Southampton, which will also be featured on the site.

Wildthyme Restaurant and Bar Offers a Fireworks View and Prix Fixe
Wildthyme Restaurant and Bar (129 Noyac Road, Southampton, NY, 11968 [631] 204-0007) will offer a three-course $25 prix fixe menu including a free bottle of Penfolds wine on Saturday, June 30th. The special menu has a four-person reservation minimum and is offered every Saturday from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Diners may also wine and dine on the outdoor patio while the North Sea Fire Department hosts their annual fireworks display, just across the street.
