Lucy’s Whey Cheese Shop Book Signing And Cheese Tasting Event

East Hampton - On Thursday, July 1, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., cheesemaker and author Allison Hooper, President of Vermont Butter & Cheese Creamery, will visit Lucy's Whey Cheese Shop in East Hampton to discuss her book, "In a Cheesemaker's Kitchen," a treasury of original recipes from leading chefs that incorporate Vermont Butter & Cheese Company's delectable products, and share some tastes of her fabulous cheeses.

Culinary luminaries like renowned chefs Eric Ripert of Le Bernardin, Michel Richard of Citronelle, and Molly Hanson of Grill 23; chef, writer, and educator Dan Barber of Blue Hill; chef-entrepreneurs Alison Lane and Andrew Silva of Mirabelles; knight of the French Order of the Merite Agricole, chef Raymond Ost of Sandrine's; and food writer and former CEO of Clicquot, Inc., Mireille Guiliano, share their heartfelt philosophies about food. The book is a favorite of Martha Stewart's for its unique perspective, accessible recipes, and emphasis on the importance of local farms.

my attempt to get to the saturday party was gripping my mind on how people spend money on things at the event and most definitely without being there.my schedule leads me to wander and even as far as the Hamptons and really was thinking along these lines without money to use to get myself there and was thinking of the cold situations and tried bringing this up to one man who told me actually he cabbed out there and I had a relatively smart response as the disucssion came to a point where one seemed necessary and both of us being full grown people.
