La Fondita
La Fondita (74 Montauk Highway, Amagansett, 631-267-8800, www.lafondita.net) will open for the 2010 season on Wednesday, April 28. In the weeks leading up to Memorial Day, they will be open Thursday and Sunday from 11:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. and then Friday and Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. The limited La Fondita menu will continue to be offered at its sister restaurant, Townline BBQ, until Monday, April 26.

Fresno, (8 Fresno Place, East Hampton, 631-324-8700, www.fresnorestaurant.com) hosts Brazilian Night each Thursday from 6:30 p.m. with Ludmilla & Marcello, a Brazilian singer and acoustic guitar duo, performing bossa nova classics. In keeping with the spirit of the evening, Brazil's
national cocktail, the caipirihna, will be served. Alongside music and drinks will be specials by Chef Gretchen Menser who cooks with a European sensibility, keeping flavors exciting and clean and working with as local a product as possible. This philosophy aligns with Fresno's tradition to offer a spectrum of new American fare and local bounty emphasizing simple yet sophisticated preparation. Fresno is
wine-friendly with a series of wine maker dinners and monthly wine tastings. David Loewenberg, widely regarded as one of the East End's top restaurateurs, has co-owned Fresno with business partner Michael Nolan since 2004.

Stonewalls Restaurant
Stonewalls Restaurant (967 Reeves Avenue, Riverhead, 631-506-0777, ext. 4, www.stonewalls-restaurant.com) will have Chef Guy Peuch bring the "Chef's Table" series back on Thursday, April 22. The dinner will begin at 6:30 p.m. with an amuse bouche served at the bar with a selected glass of wine followed by dinner at 7 p.m. Chef will choose the menu to be paired with wines, which will include three or four courses. Cost is $45 per person including tax and gratuity. No credit cards are accepted for this promotion.

Mirabelle Tavern
Mirabelle Tavern (Three Village Inn, 150 Main Street, Stony Brook, 631-751-0555, www.threevillageinn.com) presents a beer dinner on Monday, April 26 at 7 p.m. featuring the North Fork's Greenport Harbor Brewing Company (234 Carpenter Street, Greenport, 631-477-6681, www.harborbrewing.com). The three-course dinner costs $42 per person with beer pairings, plus tax and gratuity.

Rugosa (290 Montauk Highway, East Hampton, 631-604-1550, www.rugosarestaurant.com) introduces a three-course dinner prix fixe for $30 per person plus tax and gratuity. The menu is offered Sunday-Thursday from 5:30 p.m. to 10 p.m.; Friday and Saturday from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Southampton Publick House
In The Taproom: Monday through Friday, Happy Hour, 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., Beer and Wine Specials; Wednesday - Ladies Night - $3 Drafts, Wine and Champagne Specials, Party with DJ Brian and Beach's DJ Govia at 9:30 p.m.; Friday: All Night Happy Hour - Taproom Specials, 4 p.m. to 12 midnight, Local Legend DJ Dory, 10 p.m.; Saturday: Entertainment in the Taproom.

In the Dining Room: Monday through Friday - Lunch Specials; Tuesday - 2 for 1 entrees, 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.; Wednesday through Friday - three course Prix Fixe for $19.95 from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.; Saturday - three-course price fixe dinner, $24.95. Reservations strongly suggested. Saturday and Sunday - Brewer's Weekend Brunch, $15 per person, 12 noon to 3 p.m., includes a complimentary mimosa, Bloody Mary or 12 ounce brew.

Indian Wells Tavern is hosting Monday night S.O.B. nights.

Indian Wells Tavern (117 Main Street, Amagansett, 631-267-0400, www.indianwellstavern.com) is hosting Monday Night SOB (server of booze) Night every Monday. All restaurant industry employees are eligible for an Indian Wells Tavern S.O.B. card. S.O.B. card holders will be entitled to drink specials and food specials at the bar every Monday. Current hours for Indian Wells Tavern are lunch and dinner served seven days from 11:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., and then 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., bar is open late.
