East Hampton Surfers Help With ARF's Latest Rescue From Puerto Rico

For the second consecutive year local surfers, John Robertson and Brian Powell, have helped transport dogs rescued from Rincón, Puerto Rico while on their way home from vacation. Working with rescue partner Animal Rescue Foundation of Rincón (
ARF Rincón), Robertson and Powell agreed to fly with Nadia, a two year old male Chihuahua mix, and Pepé, a four month old Lab mix to New York and deliver them to the ARF Adoption Center in Wainscott. They arrived safely to the Adoption Center on Thursday, January 24. Once cleared by the ARF veterinarian the dogs will be put up for adoption.
