Suffolk County Legislature Approves Resolution To Transfer Long Wharf To Village Of Sag Harbor

The Suffolk County Legislature unanimously approved Resolution 1181- 2012 which transfers CR 81, Long Wharf to the Village of Sag Harbor on December 18, 2012. The resolution was sponsored by Suffolk County Legislator
Jay Schneiderman (I-Montauk) who stated, "Long Wharf has a rich history. It is synonymous with the Village of Sag Harbor it is only fitting that the county gives it to the village so that it may maintain control of its future." The Long Wharf Deed Dedication which was supposed to be held on February 8, 2013, has been postponed due to snowstorm Nemo. A new dedication date will be announced in the upcoming days. It will be held in front of
