The 56th Annual Art Show and Craft Fair, sponsored by the Shelter Island Chamber of Commerce, will be returning to the East End on Saturday, August 24.
Located at the Shelter Island School, the annual show will feature 100 different artists and craftspeople. Many of the artists have been with the show for over 40 years. The fair will also showcase a variety of new vendors, including potters, jewelers, painters, bakers and photographers. Additionally, several of the vendors have generously donated their work to a scholarship raffle for the Shelter Island High School.
A few Long Island local artists will be in attendance, such as photographer Michael Reale, Mary Dudley fabric creations and youth potter Alex Koch. Other artists include Ann Sessler, Al and Sue Daniels, Pat Paparo, Paolo Giordano, and joining for the first time this year Sarah Reith McArthur.
Additionally, the Shelter Island section of the fair will offer the Garden Club of Shelter Island’s annual Christmas Ornament.
