East End Arts (141 East Main Street, Riverhead, www.eastendarts.org) is presenting a February Break Photography Workshop that focuses on Light Prints. During the four-day workshop that will be held Tuesday through Friday, attendees will create a picture by arranging extraordinary shapes and natural materials on light-sensitive paper or fabric, which will be exposed to the sun's light, then washed with water to uncover stunning blue and white artistic shadow images called cyanotypes. The classes, which are best suited for ages 5-8-years-old, will take place from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Additionally, East End Arts is hosting a Little Dresses For Africa Sewing Group on Tuesday at 4:30 p.m. During the event participants will follow a simple pattern to create a little sun dress from a pillow case that will be donated to South African communities in need.
