Nicole Barylski

On Sunday, October 9th, break out your lucky charm and take a chance on a multitude of sensational prizes during the Montauk Playhouse Foundation's Annual Chinese Auction at the 35th annual Montauk Fall Festival (www.montaukchamber.com).

"We encourage everyone to come out to this fun annual event on Sunday at Montauk's Fall Festival weekend," shared Susan Henkin, Executive Director of the Montauk Playhouse Community Center Foundation. "There are dozens of fantastic prizes donated by our local businesses and community members, with all funds supporting the Foundation's efforts to construct an Aquatic and Cultural Center at the Playhouse."

Taking place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. under the big tent on the Village Green, festivalgoers can scout out the numerous options and then hope that fate is on their side as they enter to win one (or many) of the exceptional prizes, all of which were generously supplied by East End businesses and individuals. Additionally, the afternoon will include a silent auction featuring sports and entertainment memorabilia, live music from The 3 Bs, and a table full of enticing sweets.

This year's auction highlights include sporting equipment, electronics, artwork, jewelry, and gift baskets. Gift certificates for local restaurants, hotels, and services will also be up for grabs.

"And remember you can save time by purchasing and filling out your chances for the auction on Saturday," added Henkin.

Auction chances are a steal at just $1 per chance and will be available on both days (Saturday and Sunday) of the Fall Festival. All proceeds from the Montauk Playhouse Community Center Foundation's Fall Festival Chinese Auction will support the Foundation's campaign to build an Aquatic and Cultural Center in the historic Montauk Playhouse.
