The Sag Harbor Historical Society is excited to welcome back their "Fridays on the Porch" summer series! On August 5th, join George Fisher - Long Island's "Bottle Man" - for a night of entertainment, and on August 12th, "Show and Tell" will take place.

Dedicated to preserving and promoting the rich history of Sag Harbor, the Historical Society is thrilled to offer community members an opportunity to share what they love most about Sag Harbor.

"Sag Harbor has a rich and wonderful history that is shared on the porch of the Historical Society on certain Fridays in the summer," explained Sag Harbor native Nancy Remkus. "It is a great way to come together with your neighbors and friends and keep history alive."

On August 5th, George Fisher will delight the community by speaking about his astonishingly vast bottle collection. With over 1,200 antique soda and medical bottles in his assemblage, Fisher will share fun facts and information about his treasured compilation. Guests are invited to bring any antique bottles that they may have to share with the group.

A community "Show and Tell" will take place on August 12th. Attendees are encouraged to bring a historic collectible from Sag Harbor, such as a photo album or antique that they can show off. Presenters and audience members will no doubt learn some new details about the beloved East End village during the engaging evening.

Refreshments will be served at both events and admission is free.

"Fridays on the Porch" will take place at the Sag Harbor Historical Society, beginning at 5 p.m.

The Sag Harbor Historical Society is located at 174 Main Street in Sag Harbor. For more information, call 631-725-5092 or visit sagharborhistorical.org.

Hampton Luxury Liner
Hampton Luxury Liner was started in 2000 as a more luxurious way to travel from NYC to the Hamptons and back. The clientele quickly grew and over the years Hampton Luxury liner became the preferred method of transportation to the Hamptons and NYC for many living in NYC and the Hamptons that wanted a comfortable and affordable way to travel back and forth. In 2009, HLL was taken over by Classic Coach and things with the liner didnít change to much for years and the owner there changed the buses to Prevost as opposed to Mercedes Setra Top Class Coaches that have always been a signature of the liner.
