For over 100 years, St. Luke's Episcopal Church in East Hampton has been staging a fun-filled Summer Fair for both kids and adults. This year's Fair on Saturday, July 2nd is sure to put smiles on the faces of all that attend.

From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., attendees can take part in an array of activities, such as face painting, pony rides, Goat on a Boat puppets, a bounce house, mystifying mysteries of magic, arcade carnival games and prizes, arts and crafts, and a water slide.

"This is the oldest summer fair in East Hampton. It has been staged every summer for more than 105 years," explained Jeffrey Sussman. "All the money raised from the fair goes to support local charities, such as Meals On Wheels, Maureen's Haven, and The Retreat."

Additionally, the event will feature entertainment by the hilarious Big Apple Circus Clown, Dikki Ellis, an internationally acclaimed clown, whose work with hospitalized children has been featured on The Today Show. Mr. Ellis has had a long and distinguished career that has included time with the New York City Ballet, where he performed in George Balanchine's The Spellbound Child for PBS. He has been associated with groups such as the No Elephant Circus, If Every Fool Inc. and the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade (as a clown consultant for over 10 years).

The fair will also feature a vintage clothing booth that is assured to be "a costume designer's cornucopia" and a silent auction that will include items like rounds at the best Hamptons golf courses, a plethora of gift certificates from the finest food stores in the Hamptons, two house seats for a Broadways play and more. Make sure little ones bring their piggy bank savings, as the kids' silent auction will cover a grab bag of earthy delights, beautiful bikes, paddleboards, tennis lessons, and much more. And come hungry, as there will be plenty of hamburgers, hot dogs, sodas and lemonade, as well as clams for seafood lovers being served up at the event.

The event offers activities for all ages. (Courtesy Photo)

A portion of the funds raised from the fair will be donated, through the church's outreach program, to charities such as Maureen's Haven, Community Soup Dinners, The Retreat, and various other local causes.

Admission to the St. Luke's Summer Family Fair is free and games will cost approximately $2.

St. Luke's Church is located at 18 James Lane in East Hampton. For more information about the Family Fair, visit www.stlukeseasthampton.com

Hampton Luxury Liner
Hampton Luxury Liner was started in 2000 as a more luxurious way to travel from NYC to the Hamptons and back. The clientele quickly grew and over the years Hampton Luxury liner became the preferred method of transportation to the Hamptons and NYC for many living in NYC and the Hamptons that wanted a comfortable and affordable way to travel back and forth. In 2009, HLL was taken over by Classic Coach and things with the liner didnít change to much for years and the owner there changed the buses to Prevost as opposed to Mercedes Setra Top Class Coaches that have always been a signature of the liner.
