The Animal Rescue Fund of the Hamptons (ARF) has once again been awarded a noteworthy 4-star rating from Charity Navigator. America’s largest independent evaluator found good governance, sound fiscal management and commitment to accountability and transparency at the Wainscott-based animal shelter.
“We are honored and delighted to receive this high distinction again from Charity Navigator,” said ARF Board of Directors President, Lisa McCarthy.
This accomplishment is unprecedented in the greater Long Island area and shows the charity’s impeccable financial reliability with its 94.27 out of 100 rating.
The Animal Rescue Fund of the Hamptons has provided, since 1974, for the health and welfare of the cats and dogs of the East End through shelter and adoption services, medical care, spaying and neutering programs, community outreach and humane education.
ARF continues to exceed industry standards and outperform most charities in its cause.
The Animal Rescue Fund of the Hamptons is located at 91 Daniels Hole Road in Wainscott. For more information, visit www.arfhamptons.org.
