On Saturday, May 7th, several East End organizations will come together at the Children's Museum of the East End
) with the mission of connecting children to nature during the 7th annual Peconic Family Fun Day. From 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. attendees will learn about the East End's ecosystems, estuaries, and environments from local experts.

"We are absolutely thrilled to host the 7th Annual Peconic Family Fun Day and partner with so many amazing organizations," said Liz Bard, the Museum's Education Coordinator. "The environment is part of the reason why the East End is so incredibly special and this event allows kids to share in that appreciation while having fun."

The morning will include a variety of entertaining and educational activities that cover water management, agricultural sustainability, recycling, and environmental stewardship. Family Fun Day guests can play games, meet critters, channel their artistic side at arts & crafts stations, explore a seed planting station, take part in a taste testing, listen to music, and much more.

Admission to the event is free, but space is limited and pre-registration is strongly recommended.
