On Saturday, May 7th, shop, enjoy local favorites, celebrate, and have an adventure in Hampton Bays during the first-ever Spring Into Summer Bayfest, presented by the Hampton Bays Chamber of Commerce.

"We are always looking for ways to promote business and businesses in Hampton Bays," said Chamber President Dot Capuano. "Bayfest is a perfect opportunity for people to shop and see what the hamlet has to offer during the day and then enjoy an evening of great food and music."

The day will kick off with a Baymen 5K & Community Pride Day. Taking place from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., walkers and runners will depart from the Hampton Bays Elementary School (72 Ponquogue Avenue, Hampton Bays) at 9 a.m. "Pride Day Festivities" will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and feature "The Best of The Bays."

Forget to pick up or just haven't found that perfect gift for mom? Stroll down "Main Street" or cruise down Montauk Highway in Hampton Bays where you will find a plethora of Mother's Day gift ideas during a Village Sidewalk Sale.

Love a good quest for clues and think you know Hampton Bays like the back of your hand? Enter the Chamber's Scavenger Hunt. From 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. all ages are encouraged to take on the challenge that will take them to eight Hampton Bays businesses (keep an eye out for purple balloons) where they must get their card stamped. Once you've found your last East End clue and completed the challenge, make sure to prove you've accomplished the feat by handing your card in. Finishers will be entered for a chance to win prizes between 4 to 8 p.m. Those who post their adventures on Facebook (make sure to "Like" Hampton Bays Chamber of Commerce Facebook page) and scores the most scavenger hunt pictures with store reps will also win a prize. Participating businesses will have purple balloons to show that they are part of the event. To enter the Scavenger Hunt, pick up a card from the Chamber Office, participating businesses or at the Chamber Table at Community Pride Day.

The fun and entertainment will continue from 3 to 8 p.m. at the Hampton Bays Pocket Park (28 West Montauk Highway, Hampton Bays). Guests will enjoy tasty goods from Inn Spot and Nice Buns, as well as music by DJ Skyltz, Jan Hanna Band, ands howcase of Hampton Bays student musicians. Children will be charmed by "tattoos" and cookie decorating, and for more Mother's Day ideas, visit The Evelyn Alexander Wildlife Rescue Center's booth, where you can browse through a beautiful selection of flowers, plants and other last minute gifts options.

Hampton Luxury Liner
Hampton Luxury Liner was started in 2000 as a more luxurious way to travel from NYC to the Hamptons and back. The clientele quickly grew and over the years Hampton Luxury liner became the preferred method of transportation to the Hamptons and NYC for many living in NYC and the Hamptons that wanted a comfortable and affordable way to travel back and forth. In 2009, HLL was taken over by Classic Coach and things with the liner didn’t change to much for years and the owner there changed the buses to Prevost as opposed to Mercedes Setra Top Class Coaches that have always been a signature of the liner.
