The Annual Run for Fun/Turkey Trot in Montauk, sponsored by East Hampton Town’s Department of Parks and Recreation and Keeshan Real Estate, will take place on Thursday, November 26th. Runners of the Thanksgiving Day race can either pick a three or six mile course around town. Registration will take place from 8 to 9:30 a.m. and admission is $10. Running not your style? Join Friends of the Long Pond Greenbelt for its annual Walk-It-Off Walk, sponsored by the Southampton Trails Preservation Society. On Friday, November 27th from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., you can partake in a fast-paced hike that’ll help break you out of your Turkey Day food coma, while providing stunning views of Round, Long and Little Long Ponds.
