Don't be surprised if you see a sea of pink this weekend in Shelter Island.
October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, which means it's the perfect time to lace up your sneakers and support two local organizations during the 16th Annual Shelter Island Fall 5K Run and 5K Walk on Saturday, October 17th.
The 3.1 mile run/walk supports breast health, with all proceeds benefiting patient care through the North Fork Breast Health Coalition and the Coalition for Women's Breast Health at Southampton Hospital
