On Saturday, October 3rd and Sunday, October 4th from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., Cornell Cooperative Extension of Suffolk County is hosting its annual PumpkinFest at the Suffolk County Farm.
“PumpkinFest is a celebrated event for the Suffolk County Farm and for all of Cornell Cooperative Extension of Suffolk,” shared Vicki Fleming, 4-H Program Director at the Suffolk County Farm.
The weekend long happening will feature a range of attractions for all ages including pumpkin picking and decorating, a 5-acre pirate-themed corn maze, wagon rides, children’s entertainment, live music, carnival games, food vendors, a petting zoo with farm animals, and much more.
“It is truly an event for the entire family,” noted Fleming. “You can pick a pumpkin from our field and decorate it, take a wagon ride, visit our farm animals and wander through the corn maze.”
Proceeds from PumpkinFest will support educational programs conducted by Cornell Cooperative Extension.
Admission is $12 per person, and free for children under the age of three.
