Hamptons residents were very apprehensive about the Kardashian’s arrival to the Hamptons and wondering how the summer would turn out for them. It seems their luck hasn’t been so great after all. Southampton Town Police confirmed that there was a robbery in Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick’s rented $13.9 million dollar waterfront North Sea estate just last month.
Kardashian’s long-time boyfriend, Disick, formerly of Eastport, reported to police on July 8, 2014, that $4,000 located in an attaché case inside the house had gone missing sometime between July 1 and July 4. Still an ongoing investigation, it has been classified as third degree grand larceny.
The couple has temporarily been staying in the house on Noyac Road while filming for the future E! reality series, “Kourtney & Khloé Take the Hamptons.” Unfortunately, this is not the first time the Kardashian clan has fallen victim to thefts in their homes. Kardashian already reported $50,000 stolen several months ago from her residence in Calabasas, California.
Due to the fact that nothing else was stolen and there was no apparent sign of forced entry into the home, it is being reported by TMZ that Kardashian suspects that the culprit is somebody close to the family, perhaps even somebody involved with the crew of “Keeping Up with the Kardashian’s,” due to their house access.
Hopefully they’ll be able to solve the mystery soon so that the mother-to-be doesn’t have to stress out much longer. Hamptons.com Executive Editor and Publisher Nicole B. Brewer had the pleasure of meeting the dynamic duo at Lauren Bush Lauren’s FEED Summer Beach Party sponsored by Women’s Health Magazine just this weekend, “Scott and Kourtney were both very nice and posed for photos with everyone who asked. They chatted with everyone and were just part of the crowd. Without the cameras or an entourage the happy couple was low key and easy going.”
