“Chabad North Haven in The Hamptons” are hosting IDF Wounded Soldiers when they visit the Hamptons on Saturday, July 19, 2014. The afternoon will feature a lunch and tribute in their honor.
“The situation in Israel is very serious. The Israel Defense Forces have the difficult job of standing in the way of terror on a daily basis. We are happy to show our support and organize a tribute in their honor” said Rabbi Lerman, director of Chabad North Haven in The Hamptons.
Itamar Gat, an IDF soldier who was wounded in Lebanon in 1995 will talk about life in the IDF and his challenges in returning to normal life after serious injury. Chabad North Haven and Friends of the IDF are co-hosting the event.
