Project MOST and Springs Seedlings are holding their annual Springs Seedlings Plant Sale on Saturday, May 17, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The sale will feature organic herbs, organic vegetables, and flowers, which were grown by Springs School students as part of the Springs Seedlings Project. The program was established by Project MOST as an opportunity for students to learn how horticulture is an integral aspect of sustaining the earth.
Participants germinate seeds and study the life cycle with a little bit of help from Eeco Farm and Balsam Farm in Spring School’s state-of-the-art greenhouse. The Springs Seedlings Project hopes to eventually produce enough food to feed the whole school.
The sale will take place at the Springs School’s Greenhouse, which is located behind the Springs School (48 School Street, East Hampton).
