The Southampton Chamber of Commerce has created a new shopping program, “Shop Hop,” which benefits Hamptons charities and non-profits. Participating businesses will stay open later on the first Friday of every month, and donate a portion of their proceeds to an organization selected by the Chamber.
The first “Shop Hop” will take place on Friday, December 6, from 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. Current participants include Flying Point Surf and Sport, Southampton Publick House, Vines and Branches, Theory, Sea Green Design, Ananas Spa, Palm Produce, The Southampton Inn, Stitch, Twist, Horse Haven, Erika’s Place II, Quemar Candles, and Open Minded Concierge.
Participating venues will donate between five and ten percent of sales to the chosen cause. The inaugural “Shop Hop” will benefit the Southampton Center (25 Jobs Lane, Southampton, southamptoncenter.org).
The Southampton Center provides community events through partnerships with a varied schedule of world-class artists, performers, educators and cultural institutions.
