It’s that time of the year again. The Hamptons will be taken over by holiday cheer with Holiday Parades and Tree Lightings from Westhampton Beach to Montauk.
Southampton Village’s Annual Parade of Lights is on Saturday, November 30, starting at 4:45 p.m. The parade will end in Agawam Park where the annual Christmas Tree Lighting will follow at 5:15 p.m. Enjoy caroling by “VOSH” (Voices of Southampton High School), and soloist, Julie VanNostrand. For more festivities head to the Holiday Reception after the Tree Lighting Ceremony at Southampton Cultural Center’s Levitas Center for the Arts, (25 Pond Lane, Southampton, 631-287-4377, southamptonculturalcenter.org). Enjoy a visit from Santa, refreshments and musical entertainment by piano students and the Prelude Overture String Ensemble.
The Sixth Annual Lighting of The Lighthouse in Montauk is also on Saturday, November 30. Watch as the iconic Hamptons landmark shines bright with holiday spirit. Santa will make an appearance at the lighting, which will also have live music and caroling from 4:30 to 7 p.m.
The East Hampton Chamber of Commerce is hosting East Hampton Village’s Disney Holiday Themed Santa Parade on Saturday, December 7, at 10 a.m. The parade begins on Main Street and turns on to Newton Lane. Santa will meet children at the Huntting Inn (94 Main Street, East Hampton, 631-324-0410 www.thepalm.com) after the parade.
The Westhampton Beach Village Christmas Tree and Menorah Lighting Ceremony is on Saturday, December 7, at 6:30 p.m. The lighting will take place on The Village Green, and include holiday favorites during caroling by the Westhampton Beach High School chorus and The Hampton Synagogue’s Youth Choir. Warm up with free hot cocoa and cookies while waiting for the arrival of Santa Claus by Fire Engine.
