The Peconic Estuary Program (PEP) is encouraging East End residents to participate in the nationwide "Toast the Coast" in honor of the 25th annual National Estuaries Day on Saturday, September 28. PEP believes the toast is a great way for Long Islanders to show appreciation and support for healthy rivers, bays and estuaries which are an integral aspect of Long Island.

"Whether you are raising a glass of fresh water straight from your kitchen tap, or a glass of beer from one of Long Island's many microbreweries, if it was made on Long Island it relies on keeping our water resources clean and healthy," noted Alison Branco, Director of the PEP.

Snap a photo of the coast (preferably with the bay in the background) anytime on or before Saturday, September 28 and use #ToastTheCoast and #PeconicEstuaryProgram on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. Make sure you submit the photos to Peconic Estuary Program's Facebook page because the photo with the most likes by Monday, September 30, will win a prize.

Peconic Estuary Program is part of 28 National Estuary Programs (NEP) working to better and repair the nation's most important estuaries, including the Peconic estuary located between the North Fork and South Fork.

Hampton Luxury Liner
Hampton Luxury Liner was started in 2000 as a more luxurious way to travel from NYC to the Hamptons and back. The clientele quickly grew and over the years Hampton Luxury liner became the preferred method of transportation to the Hamptons and NYC for many living in NYC and the Hamptons that wanted a comfortable and affordable way to travel back and forth. In 2009, HLL was taken over by Classic Coach and things with the liner didnít change to much for years and the owner there changed the buses to Prevost as opposed to Mercedes Setra Top Class Coaches that have always been a signature of the liner.
