The intense manhunt for the Boston Marathon bombing suspect Dzhokar Tsarnaev came to the North Fork this afternoon as sources report that Southold Town Police and the Suffolk County Bomb Squad responded to a lead at the Cross Sound Ferry in Orient Point on Friday, April 19, 2013. Authorities were called in after receiving a report that a passenger, who boarded in New London, Connecticut, traveling on the Cross Sound Ferry fit the suspect's description.

Once the boat docked in Orient Point, the suspect was secured and searched. It was deemed a false alarm yet authorities remain on guard at all major transportation hubs throughout the New England area.

Southold Town Police confirmed that an investigation is underway but could not comment on the incident at this time.

Hampton Luxury Liner
Hampton Luxury Liner was started in 2000 as a more luxurious way to travel from NYC to the Hamptons and back. The clientele quickly grew and over the years Hampton Luxury liner became the preferred method of transportation to the Hamptons and NYC for many living in NYC and the Hamptons that wanted a comfortable and affordable way to travel back and forth. In 2009, HLL was taken over by Classic Coach and things with the liner didnít change to much for years and the owner there changed the buses to Prevost as opposed to Mercedes Setra Top Class Coaches that have always been a signature of the liner.
