Celebrate Cinco de Mayo this weekend at some of your favorite places. Enjoy Mommy's Night Out at Wildthyume. The brewmasters at the Southampton Publick House are hosting their annual beer dinner - tasty! And Harbor Bistro is open again.

Cinco de Mayo at La Fondita

La Fondita (74 Montauk Hwy., Amagansett [631] 267-8800) will be celebrating Cinco de Mayo on May 5th from 11:30 a.m.-9 p.m. They will offer some traditional holiday specials such as, Pollo en mole rojo (chicken in mole rojo), Tamale de puerco (pork tamale), and Coctel de mariscos, a mixed seafood cocktail with tomato, jicama onion, chile, cilantro and avocado. La Fondita is now open Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday from 11:30 a.m.-8:00 p.m. and 11:30-9:00 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.

Almondito Celebrates Cinco de Mayo All Weekend

Almondito (290 Montauk Highway, East Hampton, NY 11937, 631-329-6700) will celebrate Cinco de Mayo all weekend which is also their 2nd anniversary, starting on Friday, May 4th till Sunday May 6th beginning at 6 p.m. The celebration will feature $5 margaritas and $5 bocaditos (little bites) at the bar all night. The regular menu will be available with some traditional Cinco de Mayo specials in the dining room.

New Menu Items at The Plaza Café

The Plaza Cafe (61 Hill St., Southampton, NY, [631] 283-9323) has added some new menu items. New menu items include Spring Pea Soup with seared sea scallop, lime fraiche and pea shoots $15, Peconic Bay Oysters with tomato horseradish granita and wasabi tobiko $18, Pan Roasted Wild King Salmon with frisee, haricot vert, red bliss and mustard seeds vinaigrette $34, and Grilled Cooper Ridge Prime Sirloin Steak (cooked to your liking) with portobello, fingerling potatoes, sautéed spinach in a port wine sauce $42. The Plaza Café is still offering their $30 three-course prix fixe menu, Monday- Thursday from 5:30-6:45.

Mommy's Night Out at Wildthyme Restaurant and Bar!

Wildthyme Restaurant and Bar (129 Noyac Road, Southampton, NY, 11968 [631] 204-0007) offers a special night out just for Moms! "Mommy's Night Out" will be featured the second Wednesday of every month with the first one starting May 9th at 6:30 p.m. Moms can leave the kids and spouses at home for their own night out! This night will feature a $30 three-course prix fixe menu that includes soft drinks, tax and tip in the price. Seatings are open unless a table for specific amount of moms is reserved. Some of the menu items include Steamed Prince Edward Island Mussels with cherry tomatoes and lemongrass coconut broth, Grilled Fillet Mignon with house cut bistro fries, rainbow chard, grain mustard béarnaise, and Cocolate Layer Cake.

Wildthyme Restaurant and Bar (129 Noyac Road, Southampton, NY, 11968 [631] 204-0007) offers a two for one dinner entrées every Sunday evening starting at 5:30 p.m.

Southampton Publick House Hosts Ninth Annual Beer Dinner

Southampton Publick House (40 Bowden Sq., Southampton, NY [631] 283-2800) is once again hosting their annual beer dinner on Thursday, May 10th at 7 p.m. This year's festivities kick off with a beer sampling hour until 8 p.m. followed by a four-course dinner paired with specially selected beers. Tickets are $60 per person plus tax and gratuity. Reservations are required.

Southampton Ales & Lagers Served at the LI Ducks Stadium for '07 Season

Southampton Ales & Lagers of The Southampton Publick House (40 Bowden Sq., Southampton, NY [631] 283-2800) will be served at the LI Ducks stadium for the '07 season. The Southampton Brewery Party Deck is also featured at the left field corner and allows up to 40 people to enjoy a group experience at the game with picnic tables, food and drinks. Southampton Ales & Lagers will be offering SH Secret Ale and Double White Ale in the suited, concessions and corporate events.

Southampton Ales & Lagers Featured at Jungle Jims Beer Festival

Southampton Ales & Lagers of The Southampton Publick House (40 Bowden Sq., Southampton, NY [631] 283-2800) will be featured at Jungle Jims Beer Festival in Cincinnati, Ohio on May 12th from 4 -8 p.m. There will be over 30 vendors at the event with a live band from 6 p.m. to midnight. Harbor Bistro Opens for a Second Season with Chef O'Donnell, a protégé of Roy Yamaguchi

Marking its second season, Harbor Bistro (313 Three Mile Harbor Road, East Hampton, NY 11937 [631] 324-7300) will open on Friday, May 4th at 5 p.m. Under new ownership since mid-2006, the waterfront restaurant is a joint venture for East Hampton natives Patrick and Ann Glennon, their daughter Nicole O'Donnell and her husband Executive Chef Damien O'Donnell. Harbor Bistro offers a "Before the Sunset" three-course prix fixe for $29 and complimentary bar appetizers and $2 off all drinks every night from 5 to 6:30 p.m. The restaurant serves dinner from 5 to 10 p.m. Thursday and Sunday and until 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. Sunday brunch is served from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Celebrate Mother's Day at Annona

Annona Restaurant (112 Riverhead Road, Westhampton Beach, NY 11978 [631] 288-7766 or www.annona.com), will offer a special Mother's Day brunch on May 13. Co-chefs Daniel Ross-Leutwyler and Brian Leth will serve a three-course $25 prix fixe brunch from noon - 2:30p.m. The regular dinner menu will be available from 7 p.m.
