Sizzling hot summer days are in store for the Hamptons this year. The party scene has picked up tremendously as just about every venue from Hamptons Bays to Montauk is packed with people on the weekends. I started my Life @ Nite rendezvous Wednesday night in Manhattan hanging out with actor/comedian
Damon Wayans and radio diva extraordinaire
Wendy Williams at Comix. Saturday I went by the Southampton Fresh Air Home fundraiser before going to Stereo by the Shore where
Lilly Allen gave a performance for the crowd.

If you are in Manhattan on a Wednesday night you can catch the Queen of Radio at her weekly Comedy Experience show at Comix Comedy Club. Last week, multitalented actor/comedian
Damon Wayans had the audience in stitches. Damon has been in numerous movies and was a cast member of the hit Fox series In Living Color and ABC's My Wife and Kids. Son,
Damon Wayans Jr. and
Will Sylvince who hosted the show, were also part of Wendy's comedic arsenal. Will is currently working with NBC Universal on the film festival Comedy Short Cuts. Also on Wendy's line up is usual host of the Wendy Williams Comedy Experience,
Drew Fraser. Drew had the audience in an uproar with his wit and humor. Drew has been on Comedy Central, HBO's Bad Boys of Comedy and Def Comedy Jam. Drew will be hosting Comedy Central Presents this upcoming August at the Millenium Hotel in Manhattan.
Saturday, the Southampton Fresh Air Home (SFAH) held their 14th annual Decorators, Designers and Dealers sale to raise money for children staying at their summer camp this year. Since 1901, SFAH has been helping city-bound physically challenged children enjoy the fresh air and ocean of the Hamptons by providing an environment where the children can become enriched emotionally and educationally. The DDD sale had some amazing items donated from decorators, renovators and estates such as fine art, furniture, linen, wines and porcelains from all over the world. I spoke with
Micheala Keszler, Vice-President of SFAH, whom was very excited about the event and thankful to everyone who donated money and items for the children. The children will be arriving in a few weeks and SFAH is always looking for volunteers to help make the summer extra special. Visit their website www.sfah.org to learn more about the organization or to make donations.

Party people at Stereo by the Shore. Photo by Rob Rich |
Saturday night I went by Stereo by the Shore in Southampton, formerly known as Tavern, for a great party. The club was comfortably packed and the DJ spun everything from old school funk to hip hop. British recording artist,
Lilly Allen stopped by Stereo for the fun and sang a few songs for partygoers.
DJ AM will be spinning at Stereo on June 23rd and Labor Day weekend.
After spending some time at Stereo I headed over to
Nello Summertime in Southampton for more dancing. The party appeared to be dwindling but that didn't stop many people from heading to the dance floor. The atmosphere at Nello's is multidimensional. You can sit in the VIP area with your own table by the bar, chill out on the dance floor, hang out in the larger dining room that has ample seating or chat outside with friends while comfortably sitting on outdoor patio chairs. The party at Nello's continues June 23rd for the Golf Classic kickoff party.
